Greetings and thanks for visiting my page. I am a licensed professional counselor-supervisor, licensed in Louisiana and Texas, with over 15 years’ experience supporting individuals and couples. I have earned advanced degrees in naturopathic medicine (ND), graduate degrees (M.Ed.) in counselor education, educational leadership and policy studies, and am currently enrolled in a doctoral program pursuing a degree in clinical sexology with an emphasis on addictive sexual behaviors. I am board certified as a telemental health counselor, a registered play therapist, sex therapist, life coach, and integrative art therapy life coach.
My counseling style is supportive, warm, collaborative; integrating evidence-based (researched) practices, and holistic strategies for healing, coping, and growing. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach to supporting clients combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered, solution-focused, and holistic therapeutic interventions. Our time together is designed to support you in addressing your expressed goals, and I will tailor our conversations and treatment to meet your specific needs.
I understand that reaching out to connect with a therapist can be a bit unnerving. However, therapy presents an opportunity to connect with a compassionate, skilled professional to be heard, grow, heal, and learn valuable coping strategies in a safe, relaxed space.
