Zachary Horner

I have over 6 years experience as a therapist and currently am licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I mainly practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing for a therapy style. I am very conversational, down to earth, and never judge. My goal is to help my clients move forward and create positive change in a person's life. My specialties are addiction and substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, stress, and working through life changes. I have worked as an online therapist, inpatient counselor, outpatient counselor, and have worked with a variety of populations from those with severe mental illness to people just looking for basic talk therapy to navigate a life change. This wide variety of experience makes me pretty adaptable to most clients and I always look forward to meeting new people to learn their life experience. In addition to talk therapy I have a great deal of experience in biopsychosocial assessment and diagnostic experience. My education is from Hazelden Graduate School in Center City, Minnesota where I received a Master's Degree in Counseling.
