About Dr. Caroline Norman, PhD, MA

Dr. Caroline Norman, PhD, MA, is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience. She has worked within the NHS as a psychotherapist and addictions counsellor, as well as in the private sector as a clinical lead in a workplace counselling setting. With approximately eight years of experience in remote counselling, Dr. Norman has worked with a diverse range of clients. Dr. Norman holds a PhD in sociology in the education sector, a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a certificate in counselling supervision, and a diploma in therapeutic counselling and psychotherapy. She integrates aspects of psychodynamic, person-centred, and CBT approaches in her work with clients, tailoring her approach to best support each individual. With extensive experience in dealing with issues such as family problems, childhood issues, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-esteem, addictions, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, work-related problems, and stress, Dr. Norman looks forward to supporting clients in their therapy journey. Dr. Norman's credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT, a Diploma in CBT, and a Certificate in Counselling Supervision. She earned her PhD in Sociology from Goldsmiths College in 2015 and her Postgraduate Diploma in CBT from Goldsmiths College in 2019. Additionally, Dr. Norman is a BACP Senior Accredited Member.
