Do you lash out verbally when someone cuts you off in traffic or does your blood pressure go through the roof when something does not go your way? When you are uncontrollably angry, it is normal to say and do things you do not really mean but the impulse to react is too strong at that moment. When your anger gets out of control, the consequences can be very serious. There are no limits to what it will lead to for yourself and others.

Our anger management is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). To get in control of your anger, you must challenge the thoughts and behaviors that cause the anger. With the guidance of your therapist, you will be able to identify your personal triggers that make you angry with yourself or others and you will learn how to react in proportion to these triggers. You will be able to respond to your anger in a totally different way, by just letting go of the anger or acting in a different and more harmonious way. With the help of CBT, you will learn to accept and forgive and develop self-control over your thoughts and actions so that you can live life without excessive and uncontrollable anger.

"The online-therapy.com platform is great. I would like to see the prices become cheaper than what they are and have a package where it’s just a video meeting with a therapist once a week. I am not sure of other people but I don’t use the messaging, activity log, journal etc. that is redundant in my eyes, I want to actually talk face to face or video with the therapist.

There is a lot of people out there who cannot afford the prices but actually need and require the help.

"This platform is good if you want to get better but at your own pace. I like that there's not deadlines or a necessary end point for the worksheets, you can go back and review them if you need to reflect again or need to revisit those tools. You have to be able to hold yourself accountable and really want to change, but if you do that, then you will find yourself growing as a person and doing necessary and healthy reflection more and more in your life outside of the platform as time goes on.

I like being able to meet with my therapist once a week. It works great with my schedule and is a good check-in each week where I can truly reflect on my progress and know that I am growing as an individual. I also like that I can send a message whenever, and she will get back to me within 24 hours with a response, so even if something happens before my weekly live session, I can still talk about these things and get advice or even just vent, and know that I will get a response soon.

This experience has opened my eyes to a lot of things in my life that need to change, for myself and for other people. Though I plan to continue on with this journey, and still use the platform, I can see and feel myself growing as a person and have a clearer head about things in my life. I feel happier, healthier, and hold myself more accountable now than I did before I started this journey. Though I'm still figuring out where exactly I'd like my life to go next, I feel a lot better about the future and don't feel fear and anxiety ruling my life anymore. I doubt myself a lot less, and have learned strategies to set reasonable boundaries in my life, and can do that now without feeling bad about it even though they're good things for me.

At times the platform is difficult to work with, for instance sometimes there are connection issues that interrupt live sessions with no way to repair them on my therapists end or mine, and it's difficult to cancel/reschedule a live session with my therapist even though I am within the cancellation timeframe. I've noticed a few spelling errors on different sections as well, but I think with these things being repaired then this would be a perfect platform.
