Do you lash out verbally when someone cuts you off in traffic or does your blood pressure go through the roof when something does not go your way? Feeling angry is a perfectly normal and healthy instinct. However, when anger is excessive or uncontrollable, it becomes destructive and can lead to problems at work, in your relationships and in your overall life.

When you are uncontrollably angry, it is normal to say and do things you do not really mean but the impulse to react is too strong at that moment. When your anger gets out of control, the consequences can be very serious. There are no limits to what it will lead to for yourself and others.

Our anger management is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). To get in control of your anger, you must challenge the thoughts and behaviors that cause the anger. With the guidance of your therapist, you will be able to identify your personal triggers that make you angry with yourself or others and you will learn how to react in proportion to these triggers. You will be able to respond to your anger in a totally different way, by just letting go of the anger or acting in a different and more harmonious way. With the help of CBT, you will learn to accept and forgive and develop self-control over your thoughts and actions so that you can live life without excessive and uncontrollable anger.

"When I first signed up, I selected all the things I needed help with, and for some reason I got matched with someone unqualified - she stated she cant "help with several of my *issues*". I decided to switch and give the program another chance even though that rubbed me the wrong way, and I'm glad it was just her. My therapist is sweet, and she understands the uniqueness of the things I talk to her about, and she tells me what's important in situations - not just taking my side. It's awesome and it's refreshing for both my partner and I to know I have someone who will tell me when I'm valid and when even the things I find difficult are valid as well."

"The course I went through has taught me the tools and techniques needed to successfully navigate my anxieties. I realize this is a life long journey and I need to be diligent in using the tools and to be honest with myself. The therapist I had for this education was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, caring and took the time to help me understand fully the steps and course material. I am thankful for her help and her ability to be non judge-mental and sympathetic to my issues. I realize everyone is different, this course helped me greatly."

"Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with my therapist S. Queen was one of the most beneficial actions I'd taken to invest in myself. The key is to be honest with yourself and do the work. For most men like myself, therapy is an uncomfortable venture but it is an absolutely essential tool in navigating the challenges in life, relationships, challenges and more. Thank you to online-therapy and to you too, S. Queen."
