Do you lash out verbally when someone cuts you off in traffic or does your blood pressure go through the roof when something does not go your way? Feeling angry is a perfectly normal and healthy instinct. However, when anger is excessive or uncontrollable, it becomes destructive and can lead to problems at work, in your relationships and in your overall life.

When you are uncontrollably angry, it is normal to say and do things you do not really mean but the impulse to react is too strong at that moment. When your anger gets out of control, the consequences can be very serious. There are no limits to what it will lead to for yourself and others.

Our anger management is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). To get in control of your anger, you must challenge the thoughts and behaviors that cause the anger. With the guidance of your therapist, you will be able to identify your personal triggers that make you angry with yourself or others and you will learn how to react in proportion to these triggers. You will be able to respond to your anger in a totally different way, by just letting go of the anger or acting in a different and more harmonious way. With the help of CBT, you will learn to accept and forgive and develop self-control over your thoughts and actions so that you can live life without excessive and uncontrollable anger.

"I was paired with a wonderful therapist who helps guiding me through my struggles with so much respect and care. Being able to text her and have two sessions per week is truly helpful and relieving. Would 10/10 always recommend!"

"I really like my online therapist that has been assigned to me, Steve. We laugh, he's supportive, but validates and helps me put everything in perspective. The platform is easy to use as well."

"Belinda is a really responsive therapist (even “out of hours”). I’ve only signed up for the worksheets and messaging service but I’ve got so much out of this so far. It’s obviously a very personal journey. I’ve been very active sometimes and then others less so - taking a step back to just take things in - Belinda reads this brilliantly. She is very supportive and reassuring."

"I would like to talk about the good. I really didn't care for the first therapist. I met with her twice. Like many, I was worried about getting a good one, and more worried about switching if I had to. I didn't have any choice in the first one. She was just assigned to me. But switching was painless and far easier than I thought. I didn't need to explain or anything. You just hit a button to switch and then I had about a dozen choices. I enjoy my second therapist much better.

The CBT part of the website. I am not sure how I feel about it. I wanted to try guided CBT and this website does a good job. I one face to face therapist before trying this website and she also wasn't very good. But the way she introduced and did CBT with me also wasn't good. This website does a great job of breaking it down with video and worksheets. I am about 70% done with video and worksheets and the early stuff helped me realize some problem areas, but some of the later work sheets just aren't clicking with me. I don't know. Maybe my issues are too complex. Or one week one thing is bothering me, a couple weeks later its something else. If I had a singular issue I could see CBT working better for me, but my self talk and automatic negative thoughts have not been consistent through out this trouble period of my life. I am not saying it hasn't been helpful, it has.

Either way, I see the CBT as kinda a bonus and not the main reason I signed up. I live overseas and English speaking therapists are extremely hard to find or EXTREMELY expensive. So the main reason I joined was be able to have access to a live therapist that speaks English. I am happy with how this website handles that and far cheaper for than local therapists.

"It's been very easy setting up appointments and talking to my therapist, and I appreciate the worksheets and extra homework a lot in order to keep me grounded and accountable during my therapy process."
