Almost anything can cause stress in one's life. Work, family, kids, friends, school, finances and life-changing events are all stressors that can cause a person to experience elevated stress levels. Although stress is a normal part of your life, overwhelming stress can result in health issues (such as heart disease and gastrointestinal problems), relationship strain, problems at work and even an increased likelihood of depression or anxiety.

Common symptoms of too much stress in your life include problems concentrating, sleep disturbances and eating too little or too much, consistently feeling down or worried and physical problems like headache, rapid heartbeat, pain and aches in your body.

Fortunately, no matter what is happening in your life, you can learn skills to control your stress. Our stress management is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). With the help of CBT, you will learn to identify and challenge the automatic negative thoughts that, up to this point, have caused you to feel overwhelmed with stress. Your therapist will help you build skills to cope and adapt to life’s stressors. You can learn practical strategies to better deal with problems and respond more calmly to stressful situations. The result? Not only will you feel better now, but you will also have these skills to use regardless of what happens in the future.

"My experience so far has been very helpful. I like how you can dive into material that is provided, work on things yourself, and then discuss with the therapist. I also like how they have access to the worksheets and can send messages for clarification or to talk about during therapy."

"My therapist has been really great. I've been working with her for a long time now and she's always super patient, understanding, and adaptable to my needs at any given time. I feel very comfortable sharing whatever I need to with her. Highly recommend!!"

"I was hesitant to start therapy online, but I decided to give it a go and I'm absolutely in love with the experience. The website is very well put together, I particuarly enjoy the text exchange with my therapist (Who is beyond amazing at her work), I feel like thise medium of communication allows me to really dive deep into my thoughts and feelings, and the live sessions become an exciting, supportive part of the process rather than me trying to fit all the complexity of my world into a 45 min weekly session.

100% recommend, I myself will keep using the service for as long as I can afford it (and it is very affordable, especially for the ammount of help I'm getting out of it).

"I feel like doing this has not only confirmed some stuff with me that I already knew, but helped me realize stuff I wouldn't have without that extra perspective. I know i may never be truly ‘cured’ from my problems, but I know feel less that I'm truly broken, and that I have the ability to work towards chsnge."
